British Championships Veterans Competition
KATE DELA from Carterton Gymastics Club competed at the
British Championships Veterans Competition at Waveney in
Suffolk on Saturday 2nd October 2010. She competed on vault,
bars, beam and floor. She had a clean competition with no falls,
her best peice of the day being on beam. Kate a retired gymnast
of 14 years now aged 27 has come back and took an amazing 4th place.
This was a very tough competition which included former gymnasts
and ex-national gymnasts.

Southern Region Competition
Three gymnasts from Carterton Gymnastic Club took part in
the Southern Region Gymnastic competition at Basingstoke
on Sunday 26th September 2010. Natasha Granville aged 8
competed on vault, bars, beam and floor at level 5. She
took 12th place out of 30 gymnasts with her best piece
being on bars. Georgia Bishop and Molly Mullins both aged
9 also competed on vault, bars, beam and floor at level 4.
Georgia came 12th and Molly 10th out of 28 gymnasts. Both
Georgia and Molly's best piece of the day also was on bars.

Southern Region Competition
Ella Mead and Ella Frost from Carterton Gymnastics Club
competed at Pinewood, Berkshire in the Southern Region
Gymnastics competition. They both competed on floor, vault,
bars and beam. It was a tough competition for them both.
Mead came 10th and Frost came 14th overall. Meads best piece
was on beam and Frosts was on bars.

Club Championships 2010
Carterton held their Club Championships on Saturday
10th July 2010 in which over 60 gymnasts took part in.
All gymnasts are aged mainly between 5 and 17
(with a new member of the squad being aged 28).
They all carried out routines on vault, bar, beam and floor.
Many took home bronze, silver and gold medals.
It was a very successful event which takes place every year.

County Under 8's Competition
FIVE young girls from Carterton Gymnastic Club took
part in the County Under 8's Competition on Saturday
26th June 2010 at Carterton. They competed on bars,
beam, vault and range and conditioning. There were five
teams that took part. From Carterton, Natasha Granville
aged 8, Laura Turberville aged 7, Caitlin Thomas-Fackey
aged 7, Sophie Crichton aged 6 and Niamh Herbert aged 7
competed. It was Sophie and Niamh's first competition
and they competed on vault and range and conditioning.
Carterton won trophies on all pieces.

Veterans Competition Basingstoke
Kate Dela had her first competition for 13 years
at the age of 27 competing for Carterton Gymnastics Club
in the Veterans Competition in Basingstoke.
This was a practice for the British Veterans Competition
later this year. Kate had a superb competition on vault,
bars and beam and had a flawless floor routine winning Gold medal.

Oxfordshire Gymnastics County Championships
FIVE young girls from Carterton Gymnastics Club
took part in the Oxfordshire Gymnastics County
Championships on Sunday 13th June 2010 at
Phoenix Gym Club, Maidenhead. All five girls
competed on vault, bars, beam and floor.
Natasha Granville competed in level 5 and came sixth
with a score of 39.35. Georgia Bishop competed in
level 4, scoring 38.70 and came 4th.
Molly Mullins received a Bronze medal with a score of 40.50.
Ella Mead and Ella Frost both competed in level 3.
Ella Mead scored 42 and came 5th. Ella Frost scored 40.15 coming 9th.

Oxfordshire Gymnastics Association Club Grades Competition
Three girls from Carterton Gymnastics Club
took part in the Oxfordshire Gymnastics Association Club Grades Competition
on 7th March 2010 at Phoenix Gymnastics Club.
All three girls competed on vault, bars, beam, floor and range and conditioning.
Molly Mullins took silver in level 13 scoring a total of 59.9.
Her best piece of apparatus being vault with a score of 12.7.
Jasmine Pearson came 8th overall in level 13. Her total score was 54.9
and her best piece was vault scoring 12.5.
Natasha Granville scored 59.9 taking silver in level 14.
Her best piece was also on vault scoring 12.9.
